Shalom is the Hebrew word for “peace,” In this image, Shalom is written in a variety of Hebrew scripts: Ancient Hebrew, Assyrian, Assyrian with Kabalistic embellishments, Medieval and Modern. It is stated in the Talmud (Shab. 10b) that Shalom is one of God's names. Where there is peace, the Divine Presence resides.
Different Chinese scripts for "peace" are composed according to the history of its development, namely, seal, clerical, standard and running scripts.
