This piece holds the tension between entropy and divine structure. It is built on three phrases of 7 words and 28 letters: the opening verse of Genesis, the opening of the Ten Commandments, and the response of the Kaddish. From chaos, harmonious divine order can emerge.

 

The chaotic texture and layered colour were painted during a time of inner struggle. Through alignment and spiritual searching, order emerged: a visual midrash on creation and sacred speech.
