Mezuzot
A Mezuzah is a section of the Torah, inscribed on kosher parchment in
a similar manner to a Torah scroll. It contains the Shema Israel, Deut.
6:4-9, which is a statement of faith in God, and Vhaiya, Deut. 11:13-21,
which speaks of the Jewish responsibility to perform the Mitzvot, and
the relationship to God that is strengthened as a result of their performance.
Mezuzot that are placed on the doorposts of a dwelling, transform it into
a spiritual habitat and a conduit for the teachings of the Torah. Few
Torah commandments offer rewards, however, longevity is stated in the
Torah as a reward for performing the precept of Mezuzah.
Ktav Tam works with qualified scribes from Israel and North America to
provide our customers with the highest quality Mezuzot.
KtavTams price range is $25.00 - $85.00 USD that varies with different
scripts and sizes.
