The five Megillot (scrolls) include Song of Songs, read on Passover, Ecclesiastes, on Succot, Lamentations, on the ninth of Av, the Book of Ruth, on Shavuot and the Book of Esther, on Purim.

It is a tradition to read the first four Megillot listed above from a parchment scroll and a requirement for the Book of Esther. It is customary to acquire a hand-written Megillat Esther for personal or gift use.

Ktav Tam produces the highest quality, hand-written Megillot on parchment.

Megillot come in different sizes, scripts and price ranges. If requested, a decorated Megillah can be ordered. Megillah cases made from olive wood are also available.

Prices range from $100 -$200 depending on size.
