I am happy to announce that I have been awarded a Schusterman #MakeItHappen micro-grant.

I will be presenting workshops on Scribal Arts at 10 locations in Jerusalem.

I am offering a fascinating presentation of the making of a Torah scrolls. We will get a good look into the tools and practice of this craft in a hands-on way. These workshops are geared towards people of all ages and they will be tailored accordingly.

In these workshops, I aim to inspire people by sharing my experience as a Torah scribe. I seek to portray the Hebrew scribal arts as an expression of human inspiration and creativity that is deeply integrated to Jewish practice and celebration. I seek to convey the principals behind the laws and practice of this ancient Jewish art form as wisdom that is ever so relevant in today’s time.
