Ketubot & Tenaim The Ketubah and Tenaim are two documents signed at a Jewish wedding. Each document performs a specific legal function in the marriage ceremony. The Tenaim, or "conditions," is the engagement contract detailing the couple’s union in love, friendship and honor. The Ketubah, the Jewish marriage certificate, is the central document of the wedding ceremony stating the responsibilities and obligations of a husband towards his wife. It is an old and wonderful tradition to create these documents as works of art. This portfolio will guide you in choosing a Ketubah that is right for you.
