"Scales of Justice"

This piece is based on the Talmudic Passage from Sanhedrein 6:2. This passage discusses the pursuit of peace; it must coexist with justice in a functional society. It also states that compromise is better that any judgment. Moses (on left) represents the law, because he was the lawgiver and Aaron (on the right) represents peace, because he was always in pursuit of peace. Written around the border are the four main ingredients of a true justice system: Peace, Faith, Judgment and Truth.
